TAWS March Release - Sneak Peek Day 3

Good morning everyone!

Today, i'm showcasing a new set Bird of a Feather.  This feather stamp can be used alone or added to the bird stamp to make a beautiful peacock.  I stamped the feather in different colors, added coordinate sequins in the center.

Have a wonderful day!  Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for a chance to win all 3 TAWS newly released sets.

Papertrey Ink February 2014 Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

Today I'm joining Papertrey Ink Feb Blog Hop.  For this card, i used the new Anniversary stamp set Bold Bouquet.  This set is AMAZING!  The set comes with many single flowers and components, so you can create different layers and customize the look of your bouquet.  I LOVE LOVE it.  By the time i almost finished the card, i realized i lost the tiny flower stamp... grrr it really bugs me.  So I used the tiny flower from Mini Bloom set.  I doubt that I'd find the lost stamp again since the cleaning lady came by this morning :(

The background was embossing paste, using Hero Arts tweed template.  Yellow flowers were inked with Fresh Ink's Chamomile pad.  Light green leaves were Memento New Sprout.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day, friends!

You're Berry Special

Hello everyone,

Today i'm sharing a card made for CASology: BoldRetro Sketches #101 and Make Your Mark.  I've been wanting to try out Inktense water color pencils for a while, but i restrained myself since i have Copics.  Finally, i gave in.  Boys... i am glad i did.  While Copics give amazing shading and blending capabilities, Inktense color pencils give really good shading too, not to mention, you can quickly color many images.  The berries on this card are colored with Inktense color pencils.  The berry image and sentiment are from the TAWS set Tooty Fruity

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

TAWS Speak Easy - Valentine Card

Hello,

Today i'm sharing a Valentine card using TAWS Speak Easy and heart stencil.  I placed the stencil over my cardstock and sketched within the heart shapes using Inktense colored pencils.  The banner is a Spellbinders die, i water colored the edge after die cutting it.  The sentiment is from TAWS set Speak Easy.  I bent the sentiment so it'd fit on the curved banner.

Have a great day everyone!  Thanks for visiting!

PTI's 7th Anniversary Celebration - Day 7

It's the 7th day of PTI's Anniversary Celebration.  Today's challenge is to create a project that incorporates stripes in some way.

I made my stripes using a diagonal stripe stencil.  I sponged it with pearlescent jade, orange, and yellow.  Then i cut a piece of black cardstock using a die from Fabulous Frames collection.  The sentiment is from Birthday Bash Sentiment set.

I'm also submitting this card to CASology

Thanks for visiting.  Have a fabulous day!
