Uniko Studio Guest Designing

Hello friends,

Today i'm guest designing for Uniko Studio Challenge.  This month challenge is Anything Goes with an optional sketch.

I used the outlined flower in Beautiful Blooms II and Simply Said Birthday to create this card.  First i stamped the flower in Spun Sugar, then used the Inktense water color pencils to trace the outlines.  Next i used a brush and clean water to color inside the flower.  The water soften the sharp lines of color pencils and created watercolor look.  To add some shading, i used the tip of the brush and brushed directly on the pencils to pick up extra colors.

Please check out the fabulous works of my GD teamie Amy and the rest of Uniko Studio's DT!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

A Card Using TAWS Wigwam Set

Hello everyone,

My card today is simple.  It's the bokeh background that took more time to create.  I first created the water color background.  Then I cut several different circle templates using various circular dies.  Next i used those templates, along with a dauber and white pigment ink to ink all over the card panel.  Let it dry, then i stamped and embossed my dream weaver image with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

Hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by!

A close up look at the bokeh background and the beautiful liquid platinum embossing powder... love this stuff!!

We Grew by Two Feet - a Card by TAWS

Hello friends!  Today i'm sharing a TAWS card made with Hard Boiled and Nap Time sets.  I thought this sentiment is a perfect fit for this scene.

First i distressed the bottom portion of the card before mounting the fence.  My chickens were colored with Copic markers.  The green grass stamp was also from Hard Boiled.  Lastly, i mounted my chicken using foam tapes and stamped the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
