TAWS September 2015 - Sneak Peek

Hello friends,

Welcome to The Alley Way Stamps September Release.  Today, I'm sharing a sneak peek of a set called BIG Time.  I LOVE LOVE this set to pieces.

On this card, I combined it with Flower Show.  I first stamped "Love" and embossed it with gold embossing powder directly on a card base.  On a piece of card stock, I stamped the flowers around the border and colored them with Copic markers.  With a craft knife, I carefully cut around the flowers and adhered my floral frame over my card base using foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by, please check out our DT's pages for more sneak peeks.

A Flashback Christmas TAWS Card

Hello friends,

Today I'm revisiting several older TAWS sets: Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood, Making Holidays Bright, and Seeing Spot.

I first masked the frame, then the "sky" to created the ground using Distress inks.  Next, I removed the "sky" part, masked the ground and stamped the snowy background.  The pine trees are from the set Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood.  Finally, I removed the frame mask and stamped the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Be Yourself!!

Hello friends,

Today, I'm sharing a card using TAWS Unique Peek.  This set is free for this month's purchase of $40 or more.

First, I used AE's Wonky Stitches die set to cut my panels.  On the small panel, I cut the inner frame using a craft knife and glued a sequin pocket on the back.  This sequin pocket was made with a fuse tool.  On my large panel, i stamped and colored my flowers using watercolors.  Adhered my sequins frame over the flower background using foam tape.  Finally, i stamped the sentiment and adhered my panel on a card base.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Paper Sweeties August 2015 Release Rewind!

Hello friend, and welcome back.  It's Paper Sweeties Release Rewind Day.

Today, I'm sharing a card that combines a new and a previous released stamp/die sets.  I am combining the new set Birthday Banners, and previously released set Wish, and Wish Sweet Cuts.

On this card, I first stamped my cup cake banners with Memento Tuxedo Black.  Then I colored them with Copic markers.  I LOVE this Birthday Banner stamp set.  And cupcake banner?  Who doesn't like that?  They are so cute and festive.  I used Wish Sweet Cuts to cut the word 3 times and glued them stacked to create some dimension.  Next I stamped the word "big" from Wish stamp set and added a pink rhinestone.
Please check out our DT for more beautiful inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Sweeties August 2015 Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello everyone... It's Sneak Peek day at Paper Sweeties.

For today's card, I'm using the following stamp sets: Birthday Banners, Let's Party, and the sentiment is from Wishing You.

School has started.  In my household, it means there'd be lots of birthday invitations.  So I'm getting a head start by creating lots of colorful birthday cards, that fits for little kids.

I first die cut a piece of cardstock using a pierced rectangle frame.  Next, I stamped my banners and presents.  I created the overlapping presents using the masking technique: stamped the first present, masked it, then stamped the next present.  I colored my images using Copic markers.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment and adhered my panel over yellow card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  For more Sneak Peeks, please check out our DT's pages below.

You Color My World

Hello friends,

Today's card is simple but yet very colorful.  I used 2 TAWS stamp sets: True Colors, and Unique Peek.  First I stamped the brush stroke image in rainbow colors.  On a piece of card stock, i stamped the brush images several times, then colored them using Copics to match the colors of brush strokes.  Next, I fussy cut my brushes and adhered over the brush strokes using foam tape.  I also scored 3 lines to separate the sentiment section and the stamped images.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment and added few enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful days!
