Good Morning!

Hello everyone,

Just a quick card to share using TAWS stamp set: It's my Party!  This little guy is how I feel in the morning... I can just flop on the floor can can't get up lol.

I colored the turtle with Copic markers and adhered over the watercolored background using foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Sequin Birthday Card

Hello,

Today, I'm sharing a sequin birthday card made with TAWS sets: Flap Happy, and It's My Party!

Flap Happy is my most favorite TAWS stamp set yet.  These little birds can't get any cuter... I can't stop making cards with these guys... seriously.

I first created a sequin pocket using a fuse tool.  Shaker card is so much fun to make with the fuse tool.  I adhered it behind my wavy panels (PTI's sentiment split curve die).  The two birds were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  Finally, I stamped the sentimen and adhered my birds.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend!

MFT Superstar Card Contest - Entry #2

Hello again,

This is my second post for the second entry of MFT Card Contest.  This time, I'm going with a gender neutral love card for the little ones.  The MFT products used to make this card are: I Love You More, I Knead You, and Die-namics Fishtails Flags STAX.

On a piece of watercolor paper, I created the background using the kitten and yarn ball stamps.  I stamped, embossed and watercolored the images.  On a small piece of vellum, I die cut the banner, then stamped the sentiment and embossed it.  I trimmed the banner, and adhered it on my background using a smaill glue dot.  With a crop-a-dile, I punched 2 holes at the top to pull the ribbon through then tie the ribbon.  Finally, I adhered my my card on a card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a great evening!

A close up look

MFT Superstar Card Contest

Hello friends,

I made this card to enter My Favorite Things Card Contest.  On this card, I used the following MFT products: Lucky Stars, Counts the Stars, and Blueprints 25

First, on a piece of card stock, I created the rainbow colors using Copic markers, then die cut the stars from it, set aside.  Next on a white piece of card stock, I also die cut the stars and the frame (blueprints 25).

I created a sequins pocket using a fuse tool and adhered it behind the white die cut star panel.
  • Tips: you can use the fuse tool to create smaller pockets to keep the sequins behind your die cut windows.  That way, when you take the picture, the sequins don't fall all the way to the bottom of the pocket.

Next step, using the rainbow stars, inlay-ed them on the white panel.  Adhered this panel on a card base and added sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful evening!!

Paper Sweeties September Release Rewind!

Hello friend, and welcome back.  It's Paper Sweeties Release Rewind Day.

Today, I'm sharing a card that combines a new and a previous released stamp/die sets.  I am combining the new set Homegrown, and previously released set Wishing You, and Stand Add-on: Fall Harvest.

On this card, I first created the foliage background using the leaf stamps from Fall Harvest set.  On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped my fruits and colored them with watercolors.  Cut them out and adhered them on the leaf background.  Next, I created the sentiment by white embossed it on black card stock... Trimmed it to size and adhered over the card with some foam tape.

Please check out our DT for more beautiful inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Sweeties September Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello friends... It's Sneak Peek day at Paper Sweeties.

I absolutely LOVE this release!  It's my most favorite Paper Sweeties release yet!  On today's card, I used the stamps from both sets:  Homegrown, and Mason Jar.  Each set comes with its matching dies.

I first stamped my jar then colored it in blue since I adore blue mason jar.  I stamped the cherries on a scrap piece of Copic friendly paper, colored it with Copics and cut it out.  I adhered the cherries overlapping the jar using foam tape.  Sentiment and few clear sequins to complete the look.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  For more Sneak Peeks, please check out our DT's pages below.

Hello, Hi, Fantabulous and Everything Else

Hello friends,

Today I'm sharing a fun card made with TAWS sets: Flap Happy and Spell Check.  I used the speech bubbles in Spell Check to create the background.  I chose Fresh Ink Provincial Gray so the background is subtle and doesn't compete much with the bird.   The bird was stamped and colored with Copic markers.   Both the red heart and the bird were fussy cut and adhered on the background using foam tape.

I hope you like it.  Have a wonderful day!

Pinterest Inspired - September Challenge

Hello everyone,

It's the first of September.  That means another Pinterest Inspired Challenge has just started.

On this card, I used an embossing folder (by Paper Studios) to create my background.  On a piece of watercolor card stock, I added several colors similar to the colors seen on the inspiration.  Then die cut "hello" from my watercolor card stock and adhered on my embossed background using foam tape.  As finishing touches, I added "Friend" using a label maker and few clear sequins.  Here's my card:

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Can't wait to see what you create!
