Hello Friends by Paper Sweeties

Hello friends,

I made this card for Paper Sweeties Inspiration #42.  I used the following products:

First I stamped the leaves in Antique Linen, then I traced the outlines with AquaBlend watercolor pencils.  Next, with a wet brush, I blurred the the outlines and went over the whole leaves for a soft washed out colors.  The brown bows is a die from Sweet Cut Stitched Tags #2.

Sadly, This is my last card for Paper Sweeties.  I've decided to step down from Paper Sweeties' Challenge Team.  Between my sons' baseball practices, swim meets and my classes, I don't have much time for crafting as I'd like to.  I'm so blessed to be in such a group of wonderful and talented ladies.  Thanks so much Debbie!

Hope you have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Reception Place Card

Hello,

I have a fun project to share.  It's a wedding reception place card.  I simply die cut a piece of card stock using Crafter's Companion edge'ables Papillon.

I had the idea of making this for my sister's wedding in September, but now I'm having a second thought after finishing one.  I can't imagine die cutting 150 of them :)

Anyways, thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

A Card with Vellum and Glittered Embossing Paste

Hello,

I have a card made using vellum and embossing paste.  First, I mixed white embossing paste with about a teaspoon of dry fine Rangers glitter.  Using a stencil, I applied it on a piece of card stock and let dry.  In the mean time, I stamped the butterfly (Flights of Fancy) and embossed with white embossing powder.  I cut the butterfly and applied Spectrum Noir markers (PP5, and BT7) on the back of the vellum.  Finally, I added the sentiment and adhered everything on the card.

Thanks so much for viewing.  Have a great day!

Papertrey Ink February 2016 Blog Hop

Hello friends,

I made this card to join in PTI February Blog Hop.  All stamps and dies are PTI's: Meadow Green, Rosie Posie, Think Big Favorite #10, and Love Potion Die.

I started out with masking the bottom part of my card, and added distress ink above the masking line.  Before removing the masking tape, I stamped my fern directly on the card stock.  Next I added the large beaker die over the fern.  My flowers were embossed on vellum and adhered over the beaker using foam tape.  Finally the sentiment and few gold sequins to complete the look.

I hope you like it.  Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

Mini Photo Album Page

Hello,

For a while, I really wanted to get into Project Life, but always feel intimidating.  Just recently, I've started a planner, just to track school and Cub Scout activities for my kids and add few pictures here and there.  Since I'm doing planner, it feels a bit easier to make a "faux" Project Life page :).  Here's my attempt at it.  I'm using the following Crafter's Companion products:

Stamp: Henna
Die: Die'sire Just the Ticket
Sparkle Pens: Solar Red, Emerald Green, and Moonlight

Thanks so much for viewing.  Have a great day!

Hello,

I wanted to share a fun project I made recently - a napkin ring using a floral stamp.  This big flower is from the set Floral Delight.  I stamped, colored it with Sparkle Pens.  Next, to make the ring, I cut it from an empty roll of wrapping paper, approximately 1 inch wide.  I wrapped it with twine, then adhered the flower on top.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Time to Party

Hello friends,

Today, I'm sharing a card made with a new product line by Crafter's Companion: Sparkle Pens.  Oh my goodness, these pens are AWESOME!  These glitter pens come in 18 colors and clear.
I found that the lighter colors blend better than the darker ones.  I used the lighter ones to do shading on my mugs.  My pictures do not do these pens justice.  The shimmering is much more visible in person.

Here are the materials I used on this card:
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!
