Spread Your Wings and Fly

Hello friends,

Today, I'm sharing another card using the Sparkle Pens (can't you tell I love these?).  On this card, I used the stamp set Flights of Fancy by Crafter's Companion.  I stamped the image on Spectrum Aqua card stock using Versa Fine ink pad.  Next, I colored the images using the following Sparkle Pens: Inspired Violet, Cosmo, Aquamarine, Rose Quartz, and Solar Red.  Finally, I added the sentiment, few enamel dots and adhered my panel over the card base using foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Red Lucky Envelopes

Hello friends,

February 8th is the first day of Lunar New Year.  In many Asian cultures, we give out a red lucky envelope (with money) to younger and single family members.  These red lucky envelope can be found at many Asian stores.  The closest one to me is an hour and half away... so I'm making my own.  I'm using Crafter's Companion's The Ultimate Tool and stamp sets: Butterfly Silk, and Greetings.

Here's the final product, please check out Crafter's Companion's blog for step by step instructions.

Thanks so much for visiting, I greatly appreciate your comments.  Have a wonderful day!

Colorful Balloon Birthday Card

Hello,

Today, I'm sharing a very sparkly and colorful birthday card.  First I stamped the first balloon image, masked it, then stamped the 2nd image.  To color these balloons, I used Sparkle Pens (Rose Quartz, Moonstone, Harvest Moon, Inspired Violet, Solar Red, Aquamarine, Pink Garnet, Holly Leaf, Pink Champagne, and Starry Sky).  The balloon and sentiment are from Party Time stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day!

A Fun Project - Napkin Ring

Hello,

I wanted to share a fun project I made recently - a napkin ring using a floral stamp.  This big flower is from the set Floral Delight.  I stamped, colored it with Sparkle Pens.  Next, to make the ring, I cut it from an empty roll of wrapping paper, approximately 1 inch wide.  I wrapped it with twine, then adhered the flower on top.

Time to Party

Hello friends,

Today, I'm sharing a card made with a new product line by Crafter's Companion: Sparkle Pens.  Oh my goodness, these pens are AWESOME!  These glitter pens come in 18 colors and clear.
I found that the lighter colors blend better than the darker ones.  I used the lighter ones to do shading on my mugs.  My pictures do not do these pens justice.  The shimmering is much more visible in person.

Here are the materials I used on this card:
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!
